Dogs are creatures of habit, so it could take them time to adjust to your home. This is why you need to make the extra effort to make them feel comfortable in your home. There are many ways you can do this, from keeping them in proximity to you to giving them toys. 1. Set up their space 

 Allocate a space in your house just for your dog and then set it up the way that you think your dog would like. Put blankets, toys, a cozy place to sleep, a bowl of water and maybe some snacks.
